NA Select - Available Now
NA Select represent SalmoGen’s foundational strain. The strain carries a strong base of commercially important traits, including growth, carcass weight, fillet color, and fat content. All-female NA SELECT ova will be available beginning in 2027.
NA Select Plus - Currently in Development
The NA Select Plus strain incorporates selection criteria informed by SalmoGen’s trait development models for feed efficiency, thermal adaptability, and disease resistance. These trait objectives aim to improve growth, survival, feed utilization, and resilience under demanding farming conditions.
Salmogen Robust Sterile and Salmogen High-Growth (HG) Sterile - Currently in Development
SalmoGen Robust Sterile and SalmoGen High-Growth (HG) Sterile are being developed using advanced selective breeding and modern genomic tools. These elite Atlantic salmon strains are designed to deliver strong growth and performance across dynamic farming environments while reducing the risks associated with sexual maturation and escapement through sterility.
